R&D CENTER
Cooperating with Shanghai Research Institute of Organic Chemistry,  Chinese Academy of Sciences (CAS), we founded Shangyu Zhongke Baiyun Fine Chemical R&D center Co., Ltd. In Zhejiang Hangzhou Bay Shangyu Industrial Park. Taking the advantages of business partners, we are working together to develop new production processes, technologies and products for meeting the requirements of high-speed developing pharm-chemical industry in market economy system. As a subsidiary of Zhejiang Zhongxin Chemicals Co., Ltd., Zhongke Baiyun R&D center is a researching and developing economic entity, with such businesses as:
(1) independent innovation, developing new products and techniques of fine chemicals;
(2) technical achievement transfer, pilot-scale experiment for industrial production;
(3) improving old production techniques to lower cost and waste for realizing cycle economy and clean production;
(4) transferring technical achievements to chemical companies in Shangyu Industrial park and Zhejiang province, providing pilot-scale experiment platform and technical service.
Up to now, we have invested RMB 30 million yuan, including 35,000sqm of lands, 4,000sqm of R&D building; Equipped with high standard lab with leading experimental and inspectional instruments, it can be used in the development of new products and innovation of old production techniques. Moreover, it has complete public facilities and waste handling system. Now, we have a well-established and skilled R&D work team, including more 40 qualified scientists and technicians, 12 of them have senior professional titles (including 6 doctors and masters), and 35 have medium professional titles; Moreover, there are 5 experts and scholars who studied abroad in our core team. As the shareholder, the fluoro-chemical key lab, modern organic chemical research room and analytic inspection center in Shanghai Research Institute of Organic Chemistry, Chinese Academy of Sciences (CAS) can offer assistances to us in technology, HR, inspection and information, etc. At the same time, we establish long-term cooperative relationships with Shanghai Research Institute of Organic Chemistry, Chinese Academy of Sciences (CAS), Zhejiang University, Zhejiang University of Technology and Chemical Medicines Inaugurate Center, Guangzhou Baiyunshan Pharmaceutical Co.,Ltd. thus we enjoy excellent technical supports.
In past 3 years, we have got 3 technical achievement authentications of Zhejiang province, applied 3 national patents (got 1 national patent) , developed 3 provincial new products of zhejiang and 3 national key new products of China. Especially, our "project of new antibacterial agent Fluoroquinolones type of key intermediates" has been put into industrial production and we founded 1,200T/A of fluobenzoic acid derivatives plant. Up to now, we have sold RMB 400 millions yuan of products and got CNY 35 millions of profits.
Approved by Zhejiang Science and Technology Bureau, Zhongke Baiyun Fine Chemical R&D center Co., Ltd. became the executive body of the specialized market of fine chemical in online technical market in Zhejiang in December, 2006. With the help of this platform, the collect the technical trouble and problems of these company in fine chemical production, R&D and technical innovation and provide service for them (technical transfer, information advisory, agent, etc.). Through assistance to them adopting leading technology, improving innovative ability and competence, avoiding the blindly introduction and development, and risks, we aim to help promote and orderly develop fine chemical industry.
Approved by Zhejiang Science and Technology Bureau (ZKFT[2007]348) in November, 2007, we became the leader company of "The S&T innovative service platform of environment-friendly fine chemical technology in Shangyu in Zhejiang province"; Our partners include Zhejiang University of Technology, Zhejiang Longsheng Group Stock Co., Ltd., Zhejiang Huangma Chemical Group Co., Ltd., and so on. This platform includes:
(1) 4 R&D centers: pharmaceutical chemical technology, green chemical technology, new type dye technology, new type surfactant and auxiliary agent technology;
(2) 4 pilot-scale experiment bases: pharmaceutical chemicals, new type dye & pigment, new surfactant, new type polymer material;
(3) 3 service centers: Inspection & test center, information advisory and agent service and HR training center.
Relying on the advantages of Shangyu on fine chemcial industry, through integrating the innovative elements, we are working hard to make sharing system and provide technical innovative service for medium/small fine chemical enterprise. We are striving for the sustainable & fast development of fine chemical industry in Zhejiang province.
Innovative achievements:
 In 2005, our "industrialization project of key intermediates of new type antibacterial agent Fluoroquinolones " was lapproved into " Innovation fund for technology based firms item" by The Ministry of Science and Technical; in the same year, our company was authorized as "Municipal Hi-Tech enterprise" by The Municipal S&T Bureau of Shaoxing.
In 2006, our "2,4,5-trifluoro-3-methoxybenzoic acid project" was approved as "National torch program item" by The Ministry of Science and Technical; our company was authorized as "Provincial Hi-Tech enterprise" by The Provincial S&T Bureau of Zhejiang ,our three main products from "Fluorobenzoic acid derivatives project" were approved as "Provincial hi-tech products" of Zhejiang province.
Our company was authorized as "National key hi-tech company of China torch program" by The Ministry of Science and Technical in 2007, and our three main products from "fluorobenzoic acid derivatives project" were conffered as " National key new products of China" by The Ministry of Science and Technical. Moreover, "Fluorobenzoic acid derivatives project" was awarded as "Provincial hi-tech industrialized item of Zhejiang province".
